Parthenons and Pantheons

Well, since I was bored the other day, I decided to search about ancient architecture ~ Well, I found 4 buildings with almost the same names...Check it out! XD
Parthenon, Athens, Greece

Parthenon, Nashville, USA

Pantheon, Rome, Italy

Panthéon, Paris, France
The words "Pantheon" and "Parthenon" originates from the greek word, "Πάνθειον" which means "to every god". Yea, 3 of these were temples dedicated to gods ~

The one in Greece was a temple dedicated to Athena, goddess of wisdom as well as a treasury. Later, it was used as a church, then a mosque until the stupid Venetians destroyed the building. Currently, the Greek government is restoring the structure back to its glory days ~

The one in US is a life-size replica of the one in Athens.  It's an art museum.

The one in Rome was a temple dedicated to all of the Roman gods. Then, after Rome converted to Christianity, it was used as a church besides being the final resting place for several important people in Italy ~

The one is Paris was originally built as a church dedicated to St. Genevieve and to house the reliquary châsse containing her relics, but after many changes now functions as a secular mausoleum containing the remains of distinguished French citizens ~

I know this is boring....but Im bored...so, I decided to type this lo...
